Each card includes the relevant Japanese word written in Hiragana or Katakana; Kanji (commonly used Kanji only); Romaji and English.
This FREE SAMPLE includes vocabulary cards for the following Japanese words:
- ohayou gozaimasu
- konnichi wa
- konban wa
- oyasumi nasai
- sayounara
- mata ashita
- arigatou gozaimasu
- dou itashimashite
- moshi moshi
This is a FREE SAMPLE. There are other sets currently available and more will be added regularly to this website.
IDEAS
You can turn the cards into flashcards by folding the English (and romaji if you know the Japanese scripts) underneath and once you read the Japanese, you can flick the card over to see the English.
MAKE YOUR LEARNING FUN by printing two copies of the cards. One for learning and the other for fun activities. Cut the 'English' section from each card to play 'Match the English to the Japanese' and vice versa. My daughter and I used to do this as a bedtime activity and spread them across the bed. You can use the other copy to check you have matched them correctly. There are other games such as memory or snap that can also be played using these cards.
